Optimize your LinkedIn Profile as a Landing page. (6 Steps)
1. Use appropriate image.
First impression last, and this is true as well in the online world. That’s why I’d highly recommend having a clear background on your profile image to elevate the features of your face. As humans, we are visual beings, depending on who you’re target audience is and your personality type. Smiling goes a long way as this improves likeability factor.
2. Headline
Remember what I said earlier about treating your linkedin profile as a landing page? Before your prospects reads your ‘About’ summary. You must build curiosity and entice them first with your headline.
You can do A/B test which ones work for you or switch out new headlines every quarter.
Here’s a sample:
A. I help founders and c-suite become thought leaders.
B. I help founders and c-suite communicate effectively on LinkedIn.
Some people prefer as well to put in just your ‘Position’ e.g Chief Executive Office, Head of Brand and Partnerships, Founder, name of the company.
That’s why it’s important to test and tweak what works for you.
3. Hashtags for Additional Discovery and Profile Visibility.
Use hashtags to let people know what problems you are solving and topics you are passionate to talk about.
Small tweaks, Major differences.
